Madeleine Hunter

Since graduating with an MA in Performance Design at Central Saint Martins in 2011, Madeleine worked on the set for a feature film in Chile, before embarking on a number of set design and creative roles.

Recent work has included Associate Designer for the Young Vic's Faraway, The Orange Tree Theatre's Pomona and also on the set of ITV's Amazing Grays and Sky Portrait Artist of The Year. She designed the set for Liz Black's London Fashion Week show 2014.

Alongside her own personal practice, she has continued her own artwork, and particularly enjoys puppetry, stop frame animation, painting and mixed media collage.

She recently collaborated with a videographer to create a site-specific installation performance in the crypt of St Mark’s Kennington, which was a brash and humorous reworking of The Last Supper, drawing influences from American pop culture and consumerism.
